County Court Probate/Civil Matters:
Madison County is now e-filing all probate/civil cases.
Civil and probate hearings are held via zoom on designated dates/times, unless in person is requested by the parties.
Madison County’s available probate and civil dates/times are listed on the Madison County website at located here. Click on Probate/Civil Hearings. Time slots are in 15 minute increments between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and then from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Hearings will be scheduled via zoom and a zoom invite will be emailed to the designated person/persons on the setting request.
Civil Bench trials will be heard on the same dates/times as hearing dates. Please note on the setting request the estimated time required for the bench trial. Should you require a jury trial, please contact the Court Assistant Donna Cuevas at donna.cuevas@madisoncountytx.org to obtain jury trial dates.
It is the responsibility of each party requesting a bench trial or hearing to coordinate available dates with all parties. Should your matter involve multiple parties or if there is an attorney ad litem appointed, it is up to the requesting party to make sure that the requested date/time has been agreed to by all parties
