Madison County Office of Emergency Management would like to invite you to register your Cellular, Voice Over Internet (VoIP) or Unlisted telephone number so that we may notify you of situations that may have an impact on you and your loved ones.  You may also enter your email address if you wish to receive notification by email.  A reverse notification system is a telephone and email notification system we could use to notify the public of significant incidents affecting local neighborhoods, specific geographic areas within the county, or the entire county.  This system, combined with our other alert methods, is designed to get vital messages to you the public, quickly and effectively. It is not intended to replace the Emergency Alert System (EAS) that broadcasters use, nor does this preclude you from calling 911 if you need emergency information; it simply provides an opportunity for us to disseminate critical information to you if and when the need arises.

Once registered, your information will only be used for notification purposes and will remain protected. Messages delivered to your telephone number or email address will be brief, informative, and provide you with direction to ensure the safety of your family, home or business.

Please take a moment and sign up now to provide us with the most up-to-date information regarding your home or business telephone numbers and/or email. Please include any cell phone, TTY/TDD or any unlisted numbers (listed will be in the database), and if you have multiple telephone numbers for the same location, please place the primary telephone in the first place provided. This information will allow us to remove unnecessary duplicate entries from the reverse notification system to events, if needed.  It is very important to keep this information updated once you submit it.  You may contact Madison County Office of Emergency Management to make changes to your address or phone numbers once they are submitted in the system.
